About the Role:
You will be responsible for managing and executing the marketing and communications plan across internal and external audiences. This includes working with internal sales, member engagement, and events teams, and coordinating external social media, content, and web development partners to support strategic positioning and growth. You'll help shape how the company shows up to members, the market, media, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing integrated marketing and communications strategies that cut through and position the company as the home for global leaders in Australia.
- Planning and executing campaigns across core experiences.
- Owning the marketing & comms calendar.
- Writing crisp, compelling copy across all channels (email, social, landing pages, decks, and member comms).
- Supporting lead generation through targeted campaigns and content.
- Managing budgets and tracking/analysing performance metrics.
- Coordinating and guiding external agencies and creatives.
- Acting as a trusted adviser to leadership, bringing smart, simple recommendations.
About You:
The company is looking for a strong creative copywriter who can capture and protect a distinctive brand voice and write directly to busy C-suite executives and their teams with clarity, brevity, and impact. Ideal experience includes:
- Marketing manager for client-side or agency. (ideally within the events industry)
- Email marketing, social media marketing, copywriting, website & video/shoots.
- CRM usage and basic creation of landing pages.
- Campaign and project management, metrics analysis and reporting.
- Managing external agencies, creatives and freelancers.
- Experience in lead gen and demand creation (highly regarded).
- Super organised, calm under pressure, ability to work autonomously and in a team, collaborative, tech savvy, and a strategic thinker with creative flair.
Your Benefits:
- Employment Type: Fixed term 12 months, with the possibility to extend.
- Work Location: Sydney, Australia, with a hybrid model (working from home and co-working 2 days in Sydney CBD).
