• undertake general maintenance of all school buildings, properties and grounds.
• undertake minor renovations to school buildings including classrooms, offices, boarding and residential properties.
• repair furniture and fittings and undertake small furniture manufacture or fabrication.
• undertake minor building project construction.
• relieve and assist other members of the Building and Grounds Department.
• assist in the set-up of school functions, meetings and classrooms.

• experience working across multiple trades.
• demonstrated experience in carpentry or a similar industry.
• demonstrated knowledge of relevant WHS issues
• strong and clear communication skills
• solutions-focussed, positive and collaborative approach
• willingness and ability to undertake the moderate physical demands of the position
• basic computer literacy
• current Working with Children Check and driver’s licence
• current or willingness to obtain Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (previously Reporting Abuse and Neglect) Training certification and First Aid qualifications.
