A well respected, State Government department is looking for an organised and professional Licensing Officer to join their Education team. The Role
Based within the Education Business Unit, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of license applications. You will act as a key point of contact for customers, providing high-quality information and support while maintaining critical databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Assessment: Reviewing and assessing license applications against legislative and policy requirements to ensure they are issued correctly.
- Customer Service: Providing consistent, high-quality advice to internal and external stakeholders and handling enquiries with tact and discretion.
- Records Management: Creating and maintaining accurate client files and databases in line with legislative requirements.
- Financial Administration: Efficiently processing accounts, receipting incoming money, and allocating regulatory fees.
About You
The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented team player who thrives in a high-volume environment. You will have:
- The ability to organise and prioritise work to meet tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
- A high level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters.
- Desirable: A typing speed of 60 wpm, experience interpreting legislation, and knowledge of government records management systems.
- A current National Police Clearance is required.
