The Legal Assistant/Secretary is responsible for providing high quality administrative support to a team of lawyers to ensure their practice operates efficiently and clients receive a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Diary management, meeting and travel bookings for fee earners
- Client liaison
- Requesting (and following up) documents and reports from experts
- Transcription of dictation in required time frames
- Drafting, formatting and amending of legal documents and correspondence
- Filing and keeping files up to date
- Preparing completed matters for archiving
- Reception relief as required
- Ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Skills & Experience Required:
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration
- Experience in a Legal Assistant/Secretary position, working in insurance
- Intermediate to Advanced level Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills especially good phone manner
- Proven ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands
- Good attention to detail
Salary & Work Rights:
- Must have full work rights
- Permanent full time opportunity
- Salary $80,000 - $90,000
