Our client, an Inner West based organisation, has an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join their People and Culture service unit for a 5 month contract. The Learning and Development team focuses on the just-in-time delivery of people activities and programs.
The Role:
Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination, design, and delivery of high-impact learning programs. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous learning and driving positive organisational change.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Program Design & Delivery: Designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating mandatory, technical, and leadership programs aligned with strategic objectives and compliance requirements.
- LMS Management: Coordinating and managing the organisation’s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate setup, data maintenance, and reporting functions for compliance and development needs.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Using data-driven insights to partner with teams, identifying learning needs, and crafting tailored solutions that drive real change. This includes collaborating with senior managers to provide strategic advice.
- Project Management: Coordinating and managing the delivery of L&D programs, handling scheduling, logistics, resource allocation, and tracking progress effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Reviewing and evaluating learning programs to drive continuous improvement, ensuring relevance and alignment with current industry standards (understanding of improvement frameworks is desirable).
About You:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate:
- Expert Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in adult education, L&D, or a related discipline, and/or significant relevant experience in end-to-end delivery of high-profile L&D projects in a diverse organisation.
- Proven Design Ability: Proven ability to design, develop, implement, deliver, and evaluate learning programs, including reporting on their effectiveness.
- Strategic Insight: Experience using data to identify needs and craft solutions, demonstrating the ability to collaborate with senior managers effectively.
- Project & Decision Skills: Demonstrated experience in strong project management and the ability to make informed and timely decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Essential Requirement: A current Class C (minimum) NSW Driver’s Licence
