...Randstad are partnering with a Prominent Civil Contractor to appoint a Leading Hand in Melbourne. This business has won packages with Water Authority clients across Victoria and seeking an experience water-infrastructure team leader to join their high performing team.
If you are an experienced leading hand with experience delivering to Greater Western Water, Barwon Water, Yarra Valley Water, Central Highlands Water etc we would like to speak with you.
About the Role: As a Leading Hand you will lead a crew of 5-10 and cover the following responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and directing construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel.
- Managing and coordinating all on-site activities to ensure project progression according to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Maintaining construction schedules and coordinating tasks to meet timelines.
- Monitoring work quality and ensuring compliance with specified standards and codes.
- Conducting inspections and addressing any issues during the construction process.
- Acting as a liaison between project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Addressing unexpected challenges and problems promptly to minimise disruptions.
- Maintaining detailed records, daily reports, and progress updates.
