We are partnering with a prominent Brisbane-based organisation to source a highly skilled Lead Full Stack Developer for a pivotal 12-month contract. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in a foundational enterprise project focused on Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM).
About the Project:
This critical CIAM project aims to revolutionise how individuals and organisations interact with our client's online services. By delivering a unified customer experience, simplifying interactions, and providing a comprehensive view of each customer, this initiative will enhance service delivery accuracy and enable personalized customer needs. Key outcomes include:
Delivery of a future ‘Customer Master Data Model’ and synchronisation framework.
Implementation of a new Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) System.
Consolidation of application login and profile processes.
Development of new account applications for profile, identity, and authorisation management.
Integration of a CRM component for customer management.
The Role:
As the Lead Full Stack Developer, you will be a senior member of the CIAM project team, taking ownership of technical delivery and development standards. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Solution Architect, leading a small team of developers to oversee the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of secure identity and authorisation services, primarily on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight to developers.
Collaborating on the mapping, analysis, and documentation of business and technical processes.
Designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Leading the development lifecycle from feasibility analysis through to delivery.
Preparing test data and functional specifications.
Troubleshooting and solving problems for both new and existing services.
Identifying process improvements and contributing to service development.
Maintaining transparent and timely communication within the project team.
Actively participating in Agile ceremonies, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
About You:
You are a seasoned developer with a strong track record of leadership and expertise in identity and access management solutions. You possess:
Proven experience developing on the Microsoft Azure platform, especially with .Net Framework.
Demonstrated experience developing using DevOps pipelines and automation.
Extensive experience with authorization (especially roles-based) solutions.
Proven experience in developing with Azure Active Directory and Azure B2C.
Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers within Agile projects.
Proven ability to translate business and architecture objectives into pragmatic and scalable technical solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams, facilitate technical discussions, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Highly developed written communication skills (documentation, communications, and presentations).
Highly Desirable:
Experience working in a whole-of-government Digital Identity ecosystem, including knowledge of the Trusted Digital Identity Framework (TDIF).
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
