Tasks
As a Lead Educator in the Senior Toddler Room, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating effectively with the teaching team to foster a dynamic and interactive learning environment specifically tailored for senior toddlers.
- Maintaining the highest standards of health and safety within the centre, with a focus on the unique needs of this age group.
- Developing and implementing high-quality, stimulating educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, reflecting our unique learning journey for toddlers.
- Facilitating play-based learning experiences that are responsive to each child's individual interests, strengths, and abilities.
- Observing and documenting children's developmental progress using appropriate assessment tools.
- Building strong and positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
- Mentoring and guiding junior educators within the Senior Toddler Room.
- Overseeing the daily operations and programming of the Senior Toddler Room.

- Proficiency in tracking and documenting children's progress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, families, and the community.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Strong understanding of toddler development and behaviour.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Approved Diploma or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved).
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training.
- Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available).
- Previous experience as a Lead Educator or in a senior role within an early childhood setting, particularly with toddlers, is highly desirable.
