You will be the central hub between our site-based teams and our skilled workforce, ensuring our mechanical projects—ranging from commercial fit-outs to large-scale industrial HVAC installs—are executed with precision.
Your Responsibilities:
Labour Allocation: Strategically dispatch mechanical trades, duct-fixers, and plumbers across multiple active sites based on project urgency and skill set.
Technical Distribution: Coordinate the delivery of mechanical drawings, Revit/BIM schedules, and technical data sheets to site foremen and subcontractors.
Stakeholder Liaison: Provide real-time updates to Project Managers and Site Foremen regarding trade availability and booking windows.
Operational Support: Act as the primary point of contact for field staff and specialized suppliers to resolve logistical bottlenecks.
Resource Readiness: Ensure all trades are briefed on site-specific safety requirements (SWMS) and have the necessary Purchase Orders and equipment to commence work.
Reporting: Manage daily labour tracking and monthly productivity reports to ensure projects remain within budget.
Workforce Retention: Identify and retain top-tier mechanical talent and foster a culture of quality workmanship.

The Successful Candidate:
Qualifications: A trade background in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Plumbing is highly regarded, or a Diploma in Project/Construction Management.
Experience: 4+ years in a coordination or management role within the Mechanical Services or Commercial Construction sector.
Technical Savvy: A strong understanding of mechanical construction sequences, HVAC systems, and the ability to interpret technical engineering drawings.
Regulatory Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of Australian Standards (AS1668, AS3666), NCC requirements, and site safety regulations.
Software Proficiency: Highly competent in Microsoft Office (specifically Advanced Excel); experience with project management software (Procore, SimPRO, or similar) is an advantage.
Execution: Proven ability to manage complex workflows and communicate effectively under the pressure of project deadlines.
