Randstad is pleased to be partnering with our client, an established energy services business based in Fortitude Valley. They are seeking an enthusiastic Payroll Officer to join their small, highly experienced team on a 6-month fixed-term basis, with strong potential for extension or permanency.

About the role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a knowledgeable team, your duties will include:
- Updating and maintaining employee records
- New starter onboarding and employee file maintenance
- Processing terminations, redundancies and leave
- Responding to employee queries in a timely manner
- Developing an understanding of award interpretation
- Handling inquiries and resolving payroll-related issues
About you:
This role is ideal for a candidate early in their payroll career or a recent graduate with some exposure to payroll or accounts.
- Eager to learn and develop within a professional environment
- Previous experience in a payroll or accounts-focused role or a recent Accounting or HR graduate
- High level of attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
