They are seeking a Payroll Reporting Analyst to join their team during this exciting period of change.

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Advisor for Payroll Systems, you will hold a specialist position focused on the development and delivery of complex payroll reporting. This role is critical for supporting system upgrades, governance, and executive decision-making. Your duties will include:
- Designing and delivering complex payroll validation and reconciliation reports to identify trends or anomalies
- Analysing the impact of system upgrades on wage types, deductions, and leave balances
- Supporting parallel pay run testing and post-upgrade comparisons to ensure data integrity
- Investigating complex data discrepancies to determine root causes and supporting remediation activities
- Presenting evidence-based findings and recommendations to payroll leadership and project stakeholders
- Developing and documenting reporting logic and methodologies to ensure transparency and continuous improvement
- Collaborating with technology and systems teams to support major payroll transformation initiatives
About you
- Proven experience in payroll reporting or payroll analytics within a similar environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide authoritative data insights with a high degree of autonomy
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex data discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset with experience working alongside project and systems teams
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights and willingness to undergo a national criminal check
