This is a compelling opportunity to join a global logistics leader as an IT Support Engineer on a contract basis. We are currently seeking talent for multiple roles to ensure the seamless operation of a high-volume fulfillment center in Dandenong, providing critical technical support across multiple disciplines. This role is designed for proactive problem-solvers who can navigate complex hardware and software environments to maintain 24/7 operational uptime. You will play a pivotal role in troubleshooting integrated systems and managing the lifecycle of essential IT assets in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse setting.
1+ years of experience in a corporate environment supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems.
Must hold a valid Australian Driver’s License.
Proven ability to troubleshoot integrated computer systems and end-user hardware.
Hands-on experience with Zebra thermal printers, thin clients, PCs, and handheld terminals/scanners.
Foundational knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, OSI Model, etc.).
Strong background in SLA management and IT asset inventory/RMA processes.
Availability for night and weekend shifts is essential (Higher penalty rates apply).
Ability to work long shifts (up to 12 hours) and remain largely on your feet for the duration.
Physical capacity to move and lift equipment up to 15kg.
Preferred: Familiarity with ITIL practices, ServiceNow, or certifications like CompTIA A+/Network+.
IT Manager (Direct Reporting Line)
Warehouse Operations Staff
Deliver Level 1 technical support for fulfillment operations, ensuring all networking and computing systems remain available during production.
Manage the allocation and maintenance of IT equipment, handling multiple requests and troubleshooting hardware like wireless handhelds and printers.
Oversee the RMA and repair process for all devices under warranty.
Strictly monitor and report on SLA performance metrics, proactively identifying risks to prevent service breaches.
Execute comprehensive IT inventory management, including stock counts, asset tracking, and decommissioning equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions and drive continuous improvement within the site.
Maintain accurate records in asset management systems and coordinate the replenishment of critical IT stock.
