Our client is an international provider of a comprehensive range of services and solutions to a wide range of sectors, including utilities, industrial, commercial, agricultural, and residential markets based in Greater Western Sydney.
About the Role
Responsible for ensuring optimal stock levels, efficient operations, and customer satisfaction.
Key areas of focus for the role includes:
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
- Analyze sales trends and historical data to forecast future inventory needs.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Develop and implement strategies for timely replenishment of stock to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Prepare and present regular inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities to streamline inventory processes and reduce costs.
The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel is essential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
