Intermediate/Senior Accountant

Your key responsibilities:

Intermediate

• Preparation of financial statements for various entity types (companies, trusts, partnerships, sole traders).
• Preparation and lodgement of income tax returns, BAS, and IAS.
• Assisting with client queries and providing timely accounting advice.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Senior

• Managing a diverse client portfolio, including complex engagements.
• Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for various entity structures.
• Providing high-level accounting and taxation advice to clients.
• Assisting with business advisory services, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Mentoring and developing junior accounting staff.

What we’re looking for:

• 2-5 years of local experience in Public Accounting Services
• Proficiency and hands-on experience with both Xero and MYOB accounting software.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards.
