A large Australian organisation is looking for an experienced Information Systems & Support Manager to lead their IT Support and Applications teams. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to shape how technology supports a growing, complex business while building a high-performing team around them.
What you'll be doing
- Lead and manage internal application and support teams, plus outsourced technology providers
- Design, manage and maintain scalable, resilient information systems with a focus on availability, performance and security
- Own major incident management, coordinating resolution and running post-incident reviews
- Drive improvements, enhancements and updates across information systems with a focus on business benefit and risk reduction
- Maintain application architecture diagrams and the accuracy of the Information Asset Register
- Manage vendor relationships and commercial arrangements
- Develop and maintain IT policies, standards and change management processes
- Mentor and develop a team of technology professionals
- Manage departmental budgets where relevant
What we're looking for
- Solid experience managing information systems and support teams
- Experience managing business critical applications
- Background leading the design, delivery and support of Enterprise Data Warehouse and analytics solutions
- Experience with SAP products such as SuccessFactors, BPC, Concur, ECC and S/4HANA
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Solid understanding of risk management principles in the context of critical infrastructure
- Commercial acumen for managing third party vendors and contracts
- Valid Australian drivers licence

- Approx $200,000 package inclusive of superannuation

- Some local and interstate travel required
