IMMEDIATE START: Temporary Dogman Operator - Tamworth Precast Yard (1-2 Months Cover)
Are you an experienced and licensed Dogman Operator ready for an immediate assignment? Randstad is urgently seeking a skilled operator to cover employee leave at a leading national precast concrete manufacturer in Central Tamworth.
This is a crucial 1-2 month role where you'll be working with a fantastic, long-standing team at the forefront of modern construction, playing a vital role in producing large-scale precast elements.
The Role:
Your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient operation of gantry cranes to move precast concrete products, moulds, and materials within the yard. You'll be involved in:
- Precisely moving precast products through various stages of production.
- Handling completed precast elements for storage or dispatch.
- Assisting the team with general labouring tasks when needed, ensuring continuous work flow.
- Strict adherence to all safety protocols and site procedures, with a proactive approach to crane operations.
Shift Details & Pay:
- Duration: 1-2 months temporary assignment (to cover employee leave).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday Day shift, with potential for Saturday work.
- Typical Hours: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM – with potential for overtime, finish early and still have time for golf!
- Pay Rate: $39.11 per hour, potentially more depending on your experience, provided by the manager on site following an interview.
- Meal Allowances: Provided after 1.5 hours of overtime.
About You:
- ESSENTIAL: You must hold a valid Dogman Operator license with demonstrated experience.
- ESSENTIAL: A White Card (Construction Induction).
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks and heavy lifting up to 25kg.
- Current C Class Driver’s License and reliable transport to Central Tamworth.
- Ideally, some prior experience in construction, civil, or a precast environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work well within a team.
- Willingness to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
- Must have full working rights in Australia.
