We are looking for an operational and commercially minded People and Culture Partner to act as a trusted advisor to leadership. Reporting directly to the Head of People and Culture, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening leader capability across the entire employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to create and run structured, efficient processes.
- Oversee end-to-end people processes from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring consistent practices and maintaining accurate data within the HRIS.
- Provide practical advice and coaching to leaders on performance management, employee relations, and complex workplace matters.
- Analyse people data to identify trends, create reliable reports, and share insights that inform commercial decision-making
- Ensure all people practices and policies align with Australian employment legislation, organisational values, and strict data confidentiality standards.
- Support the delivery of practical, scalable talent and culture initiatives that drive engagement and high performance.
- A key focus for your first six months will be driving the implementation of a new HRIS to ensure the business has accurate people data, reporting, and insights to scale effectively.
Skills and Experience Required
- Demonstrated background in a People & Culture Partner, or Business Partner role supporting both leaders and employees.
- Strong, practical knowledge of Australian employment legislation with the ability to apply it in a commercially sensible way.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers to run effective selection processes and make confident hiring decisions.
- Hands-on experience working with HR systems, maintaining data integrity, and utilising analytics to drive continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and constructively challenge leaders when required.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a natural 'process driven' mindset.
