HR Partners by Randstad is excited to be partnering with a purpose driven organisation for a HRBP role in Sydney CBD. The HRBP (standalone and leading the HR function) is responsible for the full suite of HR business-as-usual (BAU) operations, including all aspects of the employment lifecycle: workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, contracts, probations, compliance, reporting, performance management, learning and development, remuneration, and employee relations. In addition to BAU, you will deliver priority HR projects to strengthen and modernise HR policies, systems, processes, and organisational capability.
... Key Responsibilities
- Execute all day-to-day HR BAU functions across recruitment, onboarding, performance, remuneration, and HR administration.
- Manage the entire employment cycle from attraction and recruitment through to contract changes, renewals, and exits.
- Design, implement, and manage organisation’s performance review and remuneration processes, including maintaining measurable and objective KPIs.
- Deliver priority HR projects, including policy updates, process improvements, system enhancements, and workforce capability initiatives, in consultation with senior leadership.
- Lead and manage compliance and risk controls.
- Check compliance, quality record-keeping, and escalating legal, WHS or compliance issues promptly.
- Provide guidance and coaching to leaders and team members on day-to-day HR matters.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5+ years generalist HR experience, ideally in a standalone role or small-team HR environment.
- Strong understanding of the nonprofit employment landscape, including salary packaging and award interpretation.
- HRIS Experience, preferably Employment Hero.
- Demonstrated experience delivering HR operations end-to-end (recruitment, onboarding, performance, remuneration, HR reporting).
- Demonstrated alignment with organisation’s values.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
