Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days WFH)About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join a large national transport organisation on a 6-month contract, providing cover during a period of leave and acting as a key HR partner for Victoria!
This role supports the full employee lifecycle and works closely with leaders to provide practical, day-to-day HR advice in a busy operational environment.
Your role
- Provide end-to-end HR advisory support across the business
- Lead employee relations matters
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment activity
- Work alongside the Learning & Development function to support capability-building and training initiatives
- Contribute to workforce planning and broader talent and people strategies
- Support HR governance activities including audits, compliance, policy interpretation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify and drive improvements across HR systems, processes, and ways of working
- Provide high-level HR coordination and operational support across the employee lifecycle
About You
- Experience in a HR Generalist role
- Strong background in employee relations
- Confident operating in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Balanced, pragmatic approach with strong commercial awareness and people focus
- Enjoys variety and working across both operational and advisory HR responsibilities
