We’re partnering with a global industrial powerhouse that is in search of a HR Business Partner to join its growing Sydney team and lead the HR efforts for its client group (manufacturing).
Reporting to the GM of Human Resources, you will have the autonomy to own the ER/IR landscape for your client group while being supported by a broader regional team.
The RoleThis is a fast-paced, "hands-on" role where you will balance strategic program delivery with critical operational support. Your primary focus will include:
- Industrial Relations Leadership: Providing expert advice on industrial legislation and leading enterprise agreement (EA) strategies.
- Union & Stakeholder Engagement: Representing the organisation in collective bargaining, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Leadership Coaching: Developing people manager capability by coaching leaders on performance management and conflict resolution.
- HR Strategy Delivery: Driving the implementation of core programs including Talent Management, DEI, and Compensation & Benefits.
- Operational Excellence: Using HR data and insights to empower leaders and ensuring all employee matters are handled with concise, timely follow-up.
This role is perfect for a HR professional with strong experience and an interest in IR/ER. You are a skilled communicator who can navigate the complexities of a unionised, multi-site structure and translate industrial legislation into actionable advice for diverse stakeholders.. You are a proactive collaborator who thrives on independence, handles sensitive information with discretion, and is eager to drive accountability and innovation within an evolving global business.
