Are you a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment? We are currently seeking a proactive and pragmatic HR Business Partner to join a leading Australian healthcare provider. In this role, you will be the "go-to" advisor for operational managers, providing high-level generalist support across a national workforce.
As a key member of the People team, you will deliver accurate, timely, and commercial HR advice to the operations side of the business. Your day-to-day will involve navigating complex Award interpretations, managing employee relations, and driving key people projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to National and State Managers on all people-related matters, including performance management, conduct, and probation.
- Lead formal workplace investigations and provide expert guidance on Modern Awards and legislative requirements.
- Support the business through the full employee lifecycle, from coordinating onboarding and recruitment to managing departures and casual conversions.
- Partner with leadership on workplace consultations, including site acquisitions and closures.
- Participate in the development and rollout of new HRIS platforms and other people-centric projects.
- Communicate key people metrics to stakeholders to help identify risks and inform decision-making.
- A minimum of 5 years as an HR professional.
- Proven experience in a mid-to-large size organisation with a unionised or Award-covered workforce.
- While not mandatory, experience in the healthcare sector is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional written and verbal skills
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management is preferred.
