HR Partners is proud to be partnering with a blue collar organisation for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) for 3 month opportunity with permanent potential ready to tackle complex challenges and drive positive change within a leading organisation. This pivotal role will report into the Head of Business Partnering and manage a large portfolio. Key responsibilities include but are not limited:
- Employee & Industrial Relations: Providing expert IR advice to line Managers and assisting/supporting in enterprise bargaining negotiations. This includes maintaining an expert working knowledge of relevant legislation and employee & workplace relations trends.
- Complex Case Management: Undertaking workplace investigations as required , and preparing responses to FW unfair dismissal applications & attending conciliation.
- Talent Management: Assisting the business to source, develop and retain talent , and supporting managers throughout the performance review and succession planning processes.
- Leadership Coaching: Providing coaching and development to managers and supervisors to develop their people management capability and contributing to the development of management and supervisory capability.
- HR Strategy & Compliance: Supporting change management and restructuring processes and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, health and environmental legislation.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications, preferably in human resources management or a related field.
- Proven experience in providing HR Business Partnering advice within a large organisation.
- Strong ER and IR capability (exposure to EAs/EBA negotiation is essential).
- Practical experience in conducting workplace investigations, disciplinary matters, and managing FWC matters up to conciliation.
- Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills , with a proven ability to coach and develop others.
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation.
- Experience working in a unionised environment would be an advantage.
