We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and safety-focused individual to join our team as a High Reach Forklift Driver and Warehouse Specialist. This is a pivotal role, ensuring our inventory operations run with precision and that our customers receive their equipment accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities:
Expert High Reach Operation: Safely and efficiently operate the high reach forklift to accurately put away, retrieve, and stage stock in high-bay racking systems.
Inventory Accuracy: Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through diligent cycle counting and meticulous scanning/logging of goods movement using the warehouse management system (WMS).
Logistics & Processing: Assist with the loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight from trucks and containers, ensuring safe material handling practices are followed.
Order Fulfillment: Prepare and pack stock for delivery, conducting thorough quality checks and completing all necessary dispatch documentation.
Equipment Upkeep: Perform routine minor maintenance and pre-start/post-operation checks on the forklift and other material handling equipment, reporting any faults immediately.
Warehouse Excellence: Maintain the exceptional cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse floor, racking areas, and marshalling points.
Skills & Qualifications:
Essential: A valid Forklift License is mandatory, with demonstrable and recent experience operating a High Reach Forklift.
Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse or logistics environment is highly desirable.
Licensing: A current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Capacity: Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment (as required) and stand for extended periods.
Attributes: A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive commitment to site safety and WHS standards.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, a positive "can-do" attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
