Key Responsibilities
- Framework Design: Lead the national Health & Wellbeing strategy, focusing on psychosocial hazards (stress, fatigue, workload, and conflict).
- Compliance: Act as the SME for Respect@Work reforms, Positive Duty, and sexual harassment regulations.
- Policy & Programs: Oversee drug and alcohol programs, fitness-for-work initiatives, and national wellness campaigns.
- Data Insights: Analyse injury and wellbeing data to identify trends and implement targeted interventions.
- Strategic Support: Partner with Operations to integrate wellbeing into daily leadership and support complex health-related cases.
Experience & Skills
- Qualifications: Tertiary degree in Psychology, Occupational Health, HR, Safety, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in psychosocial risk management and developing wellbeing policies.
- Legislative Knowledge: Strong grasp of Commonwealth and State WHS regulations regarding psychological safety.
- Communication: Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across corporate and frontline industrial environments.
- Background: Experience in transport, logistics, or heavy industrial sectors is highly regarded.
- Certifications: Mental Health First Aid or trauma-informed practice is a plus.
