Role details

Operating heavy vehicle trucks
Manual handling duties where required
Undertaking basic truck inspections and maintenance.
Maintain records (such as log books)
Moving trailers within the yard
Reversing trailers onto and off docks, into sheds and within confided spaced
Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy work area and equipment

What you need

Recent truck driving experience such as MC driver, HC Truck Driver or Delivery Driver and a clean driving record. A minimum of 12 months operating experience in your license class. You will need to be safety focused, with a high level of physical fitness and willingness to perform manual labour when required.

Current Heavy Vehicle licence (MC, HC)
Forklift licence (desirable)
Coupling/uncoupling truck to trailers experience
Must hold a current HC licence or higher
Strong reversing skills with a semi-trailer and confident operating in confined yard spaces
Safety-focused with a commitment to safe work practices
Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
Physically fit and well-presented, with the ability to pass a Functional Capacity Evaluation and Drug & Alcohol screening
