Role details

Operate heavy vehicle crane trucks on an ad hoc basis
Perform manual handling tasks, including moving timber trusses
Load and secure goods safely onto the truck
Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on vehicles
Maintain accurate records, including log books
Assist with general forklift yard duties
Strong communication skills are essential for this role
Role can start from 0530am

What you need

Recent truck driving experience such as MC driver, HC Truck Driver or Delivery Driver and a clean driving record. A minimum of 12 months operating experience in your license class. You will need to be safety focused, with a high level of physical fitness and willingness to perform manual labour when required.

Current Heavy Vehicle Licence (MC or HC with Synchromesh)
Valid Forklift Licence (essential – LF and/or LO)
Experience coupling and uncoupling trucks and trailers
Proven experience operating crane trucks
Dogging ticket (required)
Construction White Card
Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labour daily
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence
