About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Fund Accounting Leader, you will collaborate with a dedicated project team to bridge the gap between complex regulatory requirements and finance operations. You will focus on risk mitigation, stakeholder management, and establishing robust future-state controls. You will be fully supported by subject matter experts, meaning this contract will give you the perfect opportunity to have exposure to the ESG space.
- Acting as the central point of contact to align internal project divisions, reporting teams, and critical external partners (including Custodians, Investment Managers, and specialised data vendors).
- Proactively identifying process gaps or data limitations, and designing creative, compliant solutions (such as proxy data frameworks) to ensure reporting continuity.
- Developing robust workflows and internal controls that seamlessly transition from the initial project phase into everyday BAU operations.
- Overseeing the documentation of new methodologies and key strategic assumptions, ensuring the business is fully prepared for limited assurance audits.
- Providing clear visibility to leadership regarding project milestones, emerging risks, and tactical workarounds as the organisation's reporting maturity evolves.
Ideal Profile
- You will be CA/CPA qualified with background within Fund Accounting, Custody, Wealth Management, or Registry services
- Proven track record in a project, transformation, or technical accounting capacity where you have successfully interpreted and implemented complex new regulatory frameworks or accounting standards.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a natural ability to manage competing priorities across senior leadership, risk, and investment teams.
- A natural problem solver who thrives amid ambiguity, with a knack for translating complex data challenges into practical operational workflows..
