We are seeking a dedicated EBP Functional Analyst to join our Enterprise Business Platform (EBP) team for a 2-year assignment. This critical role acts as the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on understanding business processes, gathering and analysing requirements, and ensuring solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 ecosystem align with organisational objectives. You will work from our Brisbane Square (BSQ), Anne Street office.
Key Responsibilities:
...Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyse requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and system capabilities.
Process Mapping: Work with teams to map current business processes and recommend improvements leveraging the Power Platform and Dynamics 365.
Solution Design: Translate business needs into functional specifications and collaborate with developers and architects to design robust, scalable solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units, facilitating clear communication and understanding.
Testing and Validation: Support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring test cases align with functional requirements and baseline documentation.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, workflows, and system changes to support ongoing operations and future projects.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to optimise processes and enhance the user experience within the Power Platform ecosystem.
Mandatory Key Criteria:
Business Analysis Expertise: Proven experience in gathering and documenting requirements, process mapping, and creating functional specifications.
Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365, including understanding capabilities, constraints, and best practices.
Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive implementation.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in documentation and solution design.
Adaptability: Ability to work across multiple projects and adjust to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in a Functional Analyst or similar role, preferably within an enterprise IT environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Desirable (Advantageous):
Knowledge of governance, security, and compliance considerations within enterprise platforms.
MS Power Platform Functional Consultant certification.
