We're seeking a skilled Front End Loader Operator for an ongoing role at a Coal Mix Plant near Blacktown, NSW. This role has other work across other locations for this company, all within the Western Sydney area, to assist other teams.
This facility blends coal from various sources for power plants and other industries. As a Front End Loader Operator, you'll be managing the product stockpile and ensuring seamless, safe operations. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly contribute to the plant's operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Operating a Front End Loader to manage and blend coal within the stockpile.
- Assisting the team with the storage and movement of coal products.
- Maintaining the integrity and desired quality profile of the coal mix.
- Conducting routine pre-start checks and basic maintenance of the Front End Loader.
- Ensuring strict adherence to all site safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Contributing to a clean and organized work environment.
Schedulle:
- Monday to Friday: 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
- Occasional Saturdays as required for operational needs.
Requirements:
- High Risk Work License (FEL) for Front End Loader
- Proven experience operating a Front End Loader in a production environment
- White Card
- Experience working in a coal handling facility, quarry, or similar bulk materials environment is highly regarded
- Strong understanding of safe operating procedures for heavy machinery
- Reliable, highly safety-conscious, and a good team player
- Willingness to adapt to potential changes in work location
