The Opportunity
We're seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with a keen eye for design. This role will focus on building visually appealing, user-friendly websites primarily using WordPress, Elementor, and Shopify. While your main focus will be front-end development, a strong understanding of PHP and experience with React are highly valued, as they'll be key to enhancing the interactivity of our web projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining responsive WordPress websites using Elementor and Shopify, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.
- Collaborating closely with designers and other developers to implement custom themes and templates that perfectly align with client requirements.
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Shopify’s Liquid templating language.
- Integrating front-end components with back-end services and APIs.
- Optimizing websites for performance, scalability, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshooting and resolving front-end issues and bugs promptly.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio showcasing your WordPress and Shopify websites.
- Expertise in using Elementor to design and build custom WordPress themes.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), PHP, and Shopify’s Liquid templating language.
- Experience with React and integrating React components into WordPress and Shopify sites.
- A strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both clients and team members.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality, user-centric websites.
