The Role
This is a part-time position (0.63 FTE) spanning three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), focused on delivering engaging practical and theoretical Food Technology lessons across the secondary campus.
- Deliver high-quality, inspiring lesson plans aligned with the Victorian Curriculum for secondary Food Technology, prioritising safety, hygiene, and nutrition.
- Implement hands-on, interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs and instil a genuine passion for the culinary arts.
- Maintain an organised, collaborative, and safe kitchen space where all students feel confident, supported, and motivated. Partner closely with the technology faculty and support teams to ensure smooth classroom preparations, ingredient management, and resource allocation.
Successful Candidate Profile
- Valid registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- Respectful of the school’s Catholic ethos, safety-conscious in a commercial kitchen setting, adaptable, and capable of building positive relationships with secondary students.
