This two year max term role puts you right at the centre of a major, enterprise wide finance transformation. You will play a key role within the reporting workstream helping to design and embed future focused statutory, regulatory, and management reporting processes. Collaborating closely with technical experts, finance specialists, and senior leaders, you will identify improvements, drive testing, and prepare the finance function for an exciting new chapter. Responsibilities
Support the design and rollout of next generation reporting processes across statutory, regulatory, and management streams
Work closely with finance subject matter experts, business analysts, and stakeholders to define reporting needs and uncover opportunities for improvement
Map current processes, identify control gaps, and help build scalable, robust solutions
Document processes, workflows, and reporting frameworks clearly and thoroughly
Lead data validation efforts and actively participate in user acceptance testing to ensure compliance and accuracy
Represent finance in cross functional workshops and collaborative working groups
Identify, escalate, and manage reporting related risks in line with program governance
Share your technical knowledge and operational insights with the wider project team
Support change management activities to ensure the finance team is confident and prepared for the new ways of working
About you
CA or CPA qualified with a strong foundation in financial accounting, control, or reporting, preferably in insurance or financial services
Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, especially APRA reporting standards
Practical experience with SAP General Ledger
Exposure to finance systems projects or transformation programs is a real plus
Sharp analytical thinker who can navigate complexity and ambiguity with ease
Confident and clear communicator who can influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders and diverse teams
Proactive, detail oriented, and highly organised with a knack for managing competing priorities effectively
