Introduction:
We are currently recruiting a Finance Officer for leading insurance provider, they have a close knit finance team and based in the CBD.
It's a fast paced, driven and collaborative environment, working in the finance division, where the colleagues are engaged, aware, friendly and value encouraging ideas.
You will report to the Financial Controller. They are looking to start on 17th November
Your responsibilities:
- Handling accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Overall responsible for ensuring the accurate completion of the general ledger
- Responsible with the completion of the balance sheet and bank reconciliations on a weekly basis.
- Supporting the Financial Controller with ad-hoc tasks
What experience will you have:
- 3 year's experience in a similar or related role preferred
- Relevant Accounting / Finance qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to manage and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in using XERO is preferred
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong work ethic, diligence, integrity
- Detail-oriented and meticulous
