About The Role
Playing an important role within the Finance Operations Team, you will efficiently deliver a range of transactional finance services. As a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing exceptional internal and external customer service is critical to your daily activities.
Responsibilities:
... - Processing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions in line with TasTAFE Policies, Procures policy and Treasurer’s Instructions.
- Acting as the first point of contact for finance operational inquiries and resolving issues within internal Service Level Agreements.
- Assisting with banking transactions, reconciliations and the administration of credit, fleet and merchant facilities.
- Utilising modern finance systems and technologies such as TechnologyOne and HALO ticketing system.
- Managing debtor follow-up processes through to collection.
About You
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in the accurate processing of a range of transactions including AP and AR.
- Customer Focus: Well-developed communication and customer service skills, particularly in high-volume environments.
- Compliance Knowledge: A sound understanding of taxation requirements, including GST.
- System Proficiency: Strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite and finance systems like TechnologyOne.
- Team Spirit: The ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team with a "can-do" attitude.
- Professionalism: Ability to exercise initiative and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential matters.
Requirements
- Essential: Current Registration to work with vulnerable people in Tasmania or the ability to obtain one.
- Desirable: Vocational or tertiary qualifications in Finance or Business and prior experience with TechnologyOne or other Enterprise Finance Solutions.
