About the Role
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Leading all aspects of financial management for the contract, from budget preparation and forecasting to monthly journal entries and variance reporting & analysis.
- Managing lease accounting, including the application of IFRS 16.
- Interpreting and reviewing financial information.
- Overseeing Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable processes.
- Ensuring SOX compliance.
- Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborating with the client's corporate finance team and our internal Leasing & Facilities Management teams.
- Leading, developing, and mentoring a small team.
What You'll Bring
You are a finance leader with experience delivering financial outcomes. You'll have:
- Experience in a comprehensive financial management role
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of lease accounting principles, including IFRS 16.
- An understanding of SOX compliance requirements.
- A focus on process improvement and the ability to implement changes.
- Collaboration and communication skills, enabling engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and develop a team.
- Analytical skills to translate financial data into clear presentations.
