We are seeking a Finance Administration Manager to join a team in a full-time, permanent position. This is a key role where you'll assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in overseeing the treasury function, including managing cash balances and bank transfers. You will also handle the corporate credit card system, manage the vehicle fleet, and be responsible for the Capital Expenditure (Capex) Approval Process and Fixed Asset Register. Additionally, you will be involved in grant accounting, insurance renewals and claims, and some EOM journalling.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing Treasury Functions: Overseeing cash balances and bank transfers, acting as a bank signatory and platform administrator, and managing the corporate credit card system.
- Vehicle Fleet Management: Handling the buying and selling of vehicles, and managing toll and fuel accounts.
- Fixed Assets and Capex: Managing the Capex approval process and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, including running monthly depreciation.
- Insurance & Grants: Managing annual insurance renewals and claims, and administering grants.
- Financial Management: Assisting with budget preparation and forecasts, and liaising with auditors during year-end.
- Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements to financial systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Providing Support: Offering training and support to operational and shared services staff as needed.
What You'll Bring
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial information.
- Proven ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement changes effectively.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial management and accounting principles, as well as experience with budget preparation and monitoring.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a willingness to take on new challenges.
