About the Opportunity
As the Finance Business Partner, you will join the dedicated Financial Planning & Analysis team, stepping into a key strategic role with a strong commercial focus. You will take ownership of a diverse national portfolio of over 8,000 properties, managing substantial revenue exceeding $100m, and property expenses. This includes holding full P&L responsibility for the high-growth Disability Housing division, where you will act as a trusted advisor, providing direct support to the leadership team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of accurate, timely, and insight-driven annual budgets and forecasts for your portfolio.
- Delivering high-quality management reporting with clear variance analysis and meaningful commentary tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Providing expert financial advice and strategic insights to senior stakeholders to influence operational outcomes and enhance financial performance.
- Holding full P&L responsibility for the Disability Housing portfolio, partnering with the Executive Director to support strategic initiatives.
- Influencing the strategic planning process by providing forward-looking analysis, scenario modelling, and thought leadership.
- Collaborating with the FP&A Continuous Improvement Lead to drive initiatives that streamline finance processes and elevate the quality of outputs.
Ideal Profile
- You will be CA/CPA qualified coupled with 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, commercial Finance Business Partnering role.
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, with the ability to synthesise complex data into meaningful insights for executive-level reporting.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to partner effectively with executive-level stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to interpret financial performance and provide strategic advice to support high-impact decisions.
