Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our busy Finance Manager and team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate processing of financial data and the smooth operation of our financial systems. As a Finance Assistant, you will:

• Drive Efficient Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices and credit notes using Jobpac, manage EFT payments, and maintain accurate vendor information and compliance.
• Manage Accounts Receivable Effectively: Generate and issue progress claims and invoices, accurately allocate incoming payments, proactively track aged receivables, and follow up on outstanding payments with project teams, escalating risks to the Finance Manager.
• Provide Key Finance Administration Support: Reconcile supplier statements, assist with month-end reporting tasks, handle data entry and document management, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our AR/AP workflows.
• Support Our Financial Systems: Utilize Jobpac for precise record-keeping, identify and resolve system issues promptly, and liaise with external and internal stakeholders to ensure process consistency.

What We're Looking For:

• A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a finance or accounts-related position is preferred.
• While construction industry experience or Jobpac knowledge is advantageous, training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are essential.
