Field Analytics Technical Officer

Rate: $34.65 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a Field Analytics Technical Officer for a 2-month contract to support the delivery of analytical field services. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:
... - Programmed and responsive sampling and monitoring for water and wastewater clients.
- Maintenance of in-situ monitoring equipment.
- Observational monitoring.
- Carrying out a specified range of complex tests to verify that specifications are met.
- Following mandatory procedures and methods of work to safeguard the environment and personal wellbeing.
- Providing quality service to customers, which may include processing cases and resolving customer problems.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Find the most effective ways to respond to routine functional enquiries by following procedures.
- Prioritise your own workflow to ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation by generating new ideas.
- Carry out standard installation activities under detailed guidance.
- Troubleshoot basic technical or operational problems using previously defined solutions.

Skills and Experience:
- Education: Certificates in a relevant field such as laboratory or science, a trade qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience analysing data trends for use in reports.
- Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems with guidance.
- Skilled in optimising work scheduling to achieve performance targets.
- Competent in using standard office equipment and software packages.
- Knowledge of managing and applying safe systems of work.
