What You'll Do
As a Senior Facilities Service Officer, you'll be instrumental in the management and administration of the department’s infrastructure, planning, and asset management programs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analysis and Improvement: You'll research, analyse, and evaluate infrastructure projects and policies to drive continuous business improvements.
- Transition Management: You'll establish and manage the transition of plant and equipment (P&E) from project delivery to service maintenance. This includes creating and maintaining documentation to support ongoing service management and mitigating safety and regulatory risks.
- Data-Driven Decisions: You'll collect, assess, and prioritise critical plant data, providing actionable recommendations to enhance asset management. This involves reviewing condition assessments and validating data through previous service reports.
- Project Leadership: You'll actively participate in and lead project teams to develop, implement, and review programs and policies that support the department's strategic direction. This includes presenting potential design standard enhancements based on identified trends.
- Communication: You'll prepare critical reports, submissions, and briefing materials, as well as collaborate with internal and external networks to ensure consistent, best-practice approaches. You'll also participate in meetings with key stakeholders to resolve issues and identify trends.
- Operational Management: You'll manage the operational activities of a team, prioritising workloads to ensure services are delivered efficiently and on time. This includes performing essential SAP functions like raising purchase orders and notifications.
