Job Title: Facilities Officer
Location: Brisbane
Contract role: long term up to 3 years.
Hourly rate: up to $48.30
My client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Officer to support the delivery of infrastructure, planning, and asset management services. This role involves collaborating across teams to deliver tailored solutions for facilities and assets, ensuring operational compliance with legislation and organisational policies. You will play a key role in supporting the efficient management of resources, handling queries and complaints, and contributing to the development of facilities and asset management processes.
Help manage the increased claims volume resulting from natural disasters and incidents at department sites. The role will also support refined claims assessment processes to meet organisational requirements.

- Manage increased claims volume due to natural disasters and incidents at departmental sites.
- Support and refine claims assessment processes to ensure they meet departmental requirements and timelines.
- Provide operational information and support to teams for the delivery of infrastructure-related services.
- Compile reports and submissions to aid in the management of facilities and assets.
- Support business improvement activities and contribute to the resolution of operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, government policies, and organisational requirements.
- Monitor and maintain resources, including facilities, buildings, vehicles, and equipment.
- Handle enquiries and complaints related to facilities and assets.
