Randstad Construction, Property & Engineering is currently inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from motivated and ambitious individuals looking to secure a Contract Administration Cadetship.
We are partnering with leading Tier 1, Tier 2, and boutique builders across the ACT (Canberra) and Regional NSW (Goulburn) who are looking to mentor the next generation of construction professionals.
The Opportunity
A Cadetship is the perfect bridge between university theory and on-site reality. This is your chance to join high-performing teams where you will be mentored by experienced Project Managers and Contract Administrators. You will gain exposure to diverse projects, ranging from large-scale commercial builds to residential developments.
What You Will Learn
As a Cadet CA, no two days are the same. You will provide critical support to the project team, gaining hands-on experience in:
Financial Management: Assisting with progress claims, variations, and subcontractor payments.
Procurement: Helping to let packages and manage scopes of work.
Site Exposure: conducting site walks and understanding the physical construction process.
Document Control: Managing RFIs, drawings, and project specifications.
Stakeholder Management: Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for candidates with a genuine passion for the building industry and a drive to learn.
Education: Currently studying (or recently completed) a Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Engineering.
Location: Based in (or willing to commute to) Canberra or Goulburn.
Permits: A valid White Card and Driver’s License are essential.
Attitude: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic.
