This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join an international integrator renowned for service excellence and innovation. Based in Macquarie Park, you'll play a key role in shaping competitive and technically sound proposals that support high-impact projects across the built environment.
About the Role
Working alongside a high-performing and collaborative sales and engineering team, you'll take ownership of designing and estimating tailored solutions that align with customer requirements. With a mix of office-based work and occasional client site visits, you’ll combine commercial acumen and technical insight to produce accurate, compelling proposals that win work and build trust.
Key Responsibilities
... Analyse project documentation and conduct site visits to determine scope and requirements
Design and document solutions with moderate to high complexity across integrated technology systems
Develop cost-effective, competitive estimates and formal proposals using pricing tools and supplier engagement
Coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate pricing, lead times, and availability
Support RFI/RFP submissions and contribute to technical documents, schematics, and system diagrams
Liaise with internal teams including Sales, Project Management, and Engineering
Identify potential risks and value-engineering opportunities in project scopes
What You’ll Bring
Minimum 5 years' experience in estimating, cost analysis, or pre-sales in technology, construction, or related fields
Strong technical understanding of building technology systems (security, AV, IT, automation, etc.)
Detail-focused with excellent organisational and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with estimation software advantageous
Relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g. White Card, Security License, Driver’s License)
