Estimator & Project Lead – Residential Renovations
Randstad are looking to speak with an experienced Estimator & Project Lead on behalf of our client, a well-respected construction and trades company based in Launceston.

About the Opportunity
As the Estimator & Project Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of bathroom renovations. This dual-focus role involves leading the entire process, from initial client consultation and quoting to final project delivery.
You will lead the division by overseeing daily scheduling and workload management, conducting site visits to scope works, and preparing detailed proposals, costings, and 3D renders for clients. In the project management phase, you will develop project work plans, coordinate all trades and contractors, and supervise all works to ensure strict adherence to safety standards, budgets, and timelines. A key part of your role will be driving efficiency, quality, and complete client satisfaction throughout every project.
About You
This role is ideal for a proactive and experienced professional with a background in residential construction. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and team management capabilities, alongside excellent organisational and time management skills enabling them to manage multiple priorities effectively. A demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and high-level communication skills for liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders are essential.
To be considered for the role you must:
- Hold a Certificate IV in Building and Construction.
- Hold a current building licence in General Construction - Domestic.
- Have strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrate a strong and proactive commitment to Workplace Health & Safety.
