Role Duties:
- Oversee compliance with environmental regulations and internal policies
- Perform environmental audits, assessments, and site visits to ensure alignment with applicable standards.
- Execute environmental management plans, erosion control measures, and sustainability programs.
- Offer specialist guidance on environmental risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and on-site teams to embed environmental best practices into daily operations.
- Support the process of securing environmental permits and approvals for construction and development activities.
- Handle environmental reporting and documentation, and maintain communication with regulatory bodies as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering
- 2 - 3 years onsite experience within civil construction or infrastructure
- DTMR specification experience
- Experience in site inspections, assessments, testing and auditing
- Strong communications abilities
- Australian working rights
