Within the organisation, the Communication, Surveillance and Information Group (CSI) specialises in the design and development of cutting-edge electronics and software-intensive systems, including various radar and electronic warfare products.
... They now have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their growing team in Adelaide, SA. In this role you will work in a small team of electronics, software and systems engineers, will have numerous opportunities for formal professional development and informal learning, and will be expected to support and mentor junior engineers. The wide spectrum of projects in the group provides numerous opportunities to gain exposure to new professional challenges across a broad range of technical fields.
Your new role:
As Electronics Engineer will be able to contribute to the full life cycle of advanced military RF systems, including
- Design and testing of digital and RF electronics
- Development of digital signal processing algorithms for electromagnetic spectrum surveillance, passive radar and digital communications using classical and machine learning methodologies
- Advanced antenna array design and prototyping
- Embedded Software Development
- Support field trials
- Collaboration with Australian and foreign Defence partners
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you’ll have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar
- 3 or more years of experience
- Continuous development in electronics design and digital signal processing
- Demonstrated ability for self-learning and a proactive attitude
- Excellent time management
- Strong communication skills
