They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer – Building Services to join their high-performing team. Requirements Of The Position
... Design and develop electrical systems and schematics tailored to construction projects.
Oversee on-site installation and commissioning to ensure alignment with project specifications and Australian standards. Ensuring ITP's are carried out to plan, schedule and manage quality control inspections.
Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for electrical systems to ensure reliability and minimise downtime.
Interpret technical drawings, determine system requirements, and approve construction plans.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, and adheres to strict safety standards.
Manage timelines, budgets, and the performance of subcontractors.
Collaborate with clients, architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines.
Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement processes.
Promote energy-efficient and sustainable electrical solutions.
You’ll Also:
Lead stakeholder engagement and maintain excellent client relationships.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and apprentices.
Drive a safety-first culture across all electrical work.
Quals and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience, including at least 3 in Australian construction.
Proficiency in CAD and electrical design software.
Solid grasp of current Australian Standards, codes, and HSEQ regulations.
Project management experience with a strong track record of delivery.
Valid driver’s license and full working rights in Australia.
Excellent communication, time management, and decision-making skills.
