- New Framework Planning PMO
- Dynamic Team, Disability Sector
- Federal Government Contract, $602.550/day
Are you a seasoned Master Scheduler who wants to make an impact on a national scale by driving delivery confidence across a complex portfolio of interdependent programs?
I am currently partnering with a prominent Federal Government client in the disability sector with an exciting and specialised role of EL2 Master Scheduler. This is a critical role within the New Framework Planning (NFP) Program Management Office (PMO).
About the Opportunity
In this critical role, you will report directly to the PMO Director and manage the end-to-end integrated schedule across a high-impact program of 16 interdependent projects and multiple related programs. You will develop and maintain the integrated master schedule to serve as the single source of truth, providing critical insights into sequencing, dependencies, and delivery confidence. This role enables informed decision-making at executive levels and ensures alignment with strategic objectives, funding, and delivery timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and continuously refine an integrated master schedule across multiple programs and projects, ensuring data quality, version control, and audit-readiness.
- Dependency & Critical Path Mapping: Partner with the PMO Director and Project Managers to identify, map, and manage cross-program dependencies, upstream/downstream impacts, and the critical path.
- Analysis & Reporting: Perform detailed schedule analysis (critical path, float, slippage, what-if scenarios) to provide schedule-driven insights and support executive-level roadmaps, dashboards, and governance reporting.
- Capability Uplift: Partner with project managers and delivery teams, providing practical support and guidance to uplift scheduling and dependency management capability.
Ideally you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing integrated master schedules in complex, multi-program environments (i.e. established experience as a Master Scheduler, not solely as a Project Manager).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project (or equivalent scheduling tools).
- Strong expertise in dependency management, critical path analysis and schedule risk management.
- Ability to synthesise complex schedule data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data quality and schedule integrity.
- Proven experience operating within a PMO or portfolio management function.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in government or other highly regulated environments.
