Randstad is partnering with a leading health care organisation to recruit for an EL1 Senior Project Officer for Medicines Safety and Quality.
This is a full-time, non-ongoing opportunity until June 30, 2026, where you will contribute to national improvements in healthcare safety and quality. The role focuses on developing national guidance for the standardised use of intravenous fluids (IV) in clinical settings and supporting various policy and Medicines Safety and Quality program activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of strategies and national guidance related to the safe and quality use of medicines, with a focus on IV fluids.
- Prepare high quality written reports, briefs, and policies on complex healthcare issues.
- Provide expert policy advice and information to stakeholders.
- Manage project activities, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and risk management.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, fostering productive working relationships.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated understanding of medication and clinical safety across the healthcare system, particularly in critical care.
- Excellent policy and high quality writing skills.
- Highly developed research, strategic analysis, and interpretation skills.
- Project management experience in a government environment.
- Experience in healthcare related policy development at a national, state, or health service level.
