About your new role
The EL1 Risk Officers will be responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day delivery of assurance activities across the New Framework Planning (NFP) Program. This involves supporting internal, external, and independent assurance engagements by managing logistics, evidence, and follow-ups, while maintaining a consolidated view of findings, risks, and actions. Exercising sound judgement and autonomy, the successful candidate will analyse assurance outcomes from multiple sources to prepare high-quality reports that inform decision-making for senior executives, committees, and the Board.
What you will need to exceed
... - Demonstrated expertise in coordinating, analysing, and reporting on assurance activities within complex public-sector or reform environments.
- You need highly developed written and verbal communication skills to effectively translate complex information and prepare high-quality briefings for executives, committees, and the Board.
- You must possess strong organisational abilities to manage competing priorities, track actions, and maintain detailed assurance registers and tools.
- Strong analytical skills are necessary to synthesise complex assurance findings, risks, and issues from multiple sources into integrated, clear insights.
- The ability to collaborate and manage relationships with internal stakeholders across corporate functions, as well as external assurance providers, is crucial for effective assurance delivery.
- Sound judgement and high attention to detail are required to manage assurance evidence, activities, and follow-up actions.
